Legal Aid
Under the Legal Aid action point, ZA through its Legal Unit and with the help of volunteer lawyers offers free legal services to victims of rights violations and injustice in the Correction centers and Police cells. It also provides protection, reporting, enforcement and monitoring services while networking and engaging in advocacy for legislative reform of the justice system. See STRIDES
General welfare
ZA, under this action point champions a multi-pronged welfare based service format to the inmates and staff of correction centers notably,
- Reform based counseling and teaching programs to inmates as a necessary tool to position them for better lives upon their release.
- General welfare programs relating to health and health rights of the inmates, water, education, sports, environment, HIV/AIDS etc.
- Other relevant inmate and staff welfare-based services.

Rehabilitation
This action point entails comprehensive pre and post discharge services geared towards the resettlement and reintegration of the inmate upon discharge under the total man model. See STRIDES
